Doctors Told This Breakdancer He Would Never Walk Again

He proved them wrong and danced again.

(Video: YouTube)

On November 18, 2013, during a practice dance session, dancer Jungsoo “Krops” Lee fell on his neck and became paralyzed from the neck down. Doctors told him he would never walk, let alone stand up again.

After six months in a hospital bed, miraculously, Jungsoo started moving on his own. Five months later, in April of 2014, he began physical therapy and the following month,  he stood up on his own, even dancing a little. Between now and then, he had to learn how to do everything all over again, from walking to riding a bike.

One thing he never lost was his passion and his desire to dance again. In March of this year, while in Poland, Jungsoo “Krops” Lee decided to practice the move that made him paralyzed and in June, he danced again in his home country of Korea.

Jungsoo did the impossible by defying all odds against him. He not only stood up by himself, he walked and danced again.

His story is one of heart and determination. Next time you’re faced with the impossible, let Jungsoo’s story inspire you.
